Starting a new big project and need some advice.
Shot with two cameras, one shooting 24p and the other shooting at 23.976!
Finished product will be 1080p.
Have not had to deal with this before was looking for some advice.
Should I transcode each camera at this native rate and then open a new 1080p project?
Or can I just transcode all into a 1080p project?
Thanks so much for any help.
I'm not sure I entirely understand. 1080p is a resolution with a progressive frame while 24p and 23.976p are frame rates that also stipulate progressive. If you are delivering 1080p23.976 (meaning a resolution of 1920x1080 with a progressive frame @ 23.976 frames per second) I would tend to setup a project with that spec and then AMA link to your media and let MC add motion adapters as necessary to the 24p footage.
you might get a different answer if you tell us more specifics about resolution and codec of each source type you are working with.

Thanks for the help.
All cameras are 1920x1080.
The principal camera is a Black Majic, shot at 24 fps using quicktime.
Second camera is a 7D, shot at 23.976 using Quicktime.
Next is a GoPro, shot at 23.976 using MPEG4.
