Change in this Release:
AudioSuite Change - The menu options “Mono mode” and “Multi Input mode” have been added to the AudioSuite Effect dialog.
Fixes: Included in this update are a number of fixes including but not limited to:
(Mac OS10.11.3) Exporting a greater than 20 minute sequence as a QuickTime movie caused the system to crash. This is now fixed.
(Mac) In some instances, after about 15 or 20 minutes of editing and playing back, the spinning beachball would appear and you would have to force quit. This has been resolved.
“StreamingPlayConsumer Timeout” error messages occurred when playing back in 12-bit quality mode in full stereoscopic projects when I/O hardware was ON. This has been fixed. NOTE: RGB 12- bit mode is not supported with Nitris DX, Mojo DX or software only systems.
In previous releases, the editing application did not support EDL import of 64 audio tracks. This has been fixed.
In some instances, you could not select master clips and export them to an XDCAM device. This has been fixed.
When you performed an AMA File export, the file might not have been placed in the path location that was selected. This has been resolved.
Some keyboard shortcuts were not working in the Paint Tool. This is now fixed.
(Trim mode) In some instances on Mac, when you slowly dragged out a clip, the clip was incorrectly trimmed in the other direction. This is fixed.
In some instances, changing the Capture tool audio channel from Stereo to Mono caused the editing application to crash. This is resolved.
If the Font size was set to 16 or higher, the last clip at the bottom of the bin could not be renamed. This is fixed.
In some instances, a title would be cropped after you saved it in the Title tool. This is now fixed.
And many more…..

Any word if the missing Audio Track Effects Tool will be found in the next update?it is not showing up from the Tools dropdown menu (or from the Timeline's Audio track), and the AudioSuite Plugin Editor/Controls Window is not popping up for a smaller percentage of us users.

Hello, anyone can confirm: there is no longer the QualifiedGpuBoards.txt file. I tested my GTX980 TI and qualified directly. We are no longer obliged to have a quatro?

It was about time! Is this official word from Avid? What is the source?
peace luca
yes, that list has been replaced by what will be the disqualified gpu boards listing...
the time you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted time...
So one way or the other it's still Quadro only?
Can anybody else confirm the following:
1) AMC 8.5.2when I select a muted clip and delete it with "backspace", avid crashes instantly.but if I un-mute the clip first and then select and delet it it works.
did not happen before.
2) this already happend with the last AMC 8.5.1 versionWhen i close a bin, the saving dialogue does not disappear.Only when i hit "Save all", it disappears.
Sorry, wrong forum.
but maybe this also happens on win machines?
Anybody else seeing this I loaded the new update and as I was poking around in it I went to the audio suite and applied an sans amp fx and all I got was the spinning beach ball then pgm crashed so I tried it again same thing 3 times after reboots >>>

Dear all,
I have just upgraded MediaComposer 8.5.2 from 6.5, got issue:
MediaComposer > Export Quicktime file (Quicktime version v7.7.9) > Carbon Coder(v3.2) transcoding back to ISIS 5K(v4.7.8) in MXF XDCAM 50 > Can not play media (Quicktime player don't understand file).
Did test:
- Transcoding quicktime file to local drive > Quicktime player can not play MXF.
- Transcoding quicktime file that exported from MC 6.5 to the ISIS > can play MXF.
Any idea to solve it?
Best regards,
Giap
Glap
How big is the file?
Marianna

Dear Marianna,
~1GB (duration of media is ~ 3mins).
Regards,
Have anybody try and update on this?
