Hi, I need to important some BPAVs into Avid but unfortunately it's not giving me the option to "link to AMA volume."

I've tried to import regularly, restarted, and resorted the footage but I'm not able to find success yet!

It sounds like you're trying to link to the individual files. You need to link to the folder containing the root. Also, if using MC 8.5 or later, you need to choose the Autoselect plugin option as the format.

I'm not trying to link to individual files, I have a folder "Cam 1" with "BPAV" in there and the links within that. 

I am using the 7.3 version, where can I confirm that I have the autoselect plugin option as the format?

For version 7.x I believe you would be better to manually select the Sony XDCAM  plugin. ("Folder" or "File" version depending on your need.)

On MC 7.0.6 here   File > AMA Link   then File Type   drop down menu     Sony XDCAMEX Plug-in (MVP,MSP)(Folder)

Once you have the plugin installed - don't link to BPAV.  Link to one level ABOVE the BPAV.  The "Cam 1" folder.
