Cmd-P gives instant crash! (Print Bin or Timeline)

When using the Print Bin or Print Timeline command with Cmd-P, Avid crashes instant. Without any warning or message. Using Page Setup from the File menu crashes Avid MC 8.5 also instantly.

Do other users have this also?

Does not happen to Windows. It crashes even with new project?

Wasn't there a thread not to long ago about some Mac's needing to have a Printer set as default or Avid might have problems?

    JKL32,

No issues at all. The printer is not even on, and if it is on, same thing happens; Avid quits faster than I can blink!

    EDIT:

It happened to me as well, but then I noticed that while I had a printer installed & selected, there was in fact no driver loaded. (This is a relatively new El Capitan install, and hadn't used the printer yet.)

Once I had the driver, I was able to print a bin without issue.

When replying, select "Options" to attach files. Did you check Kevin's comment about the driver?
