what is the recommended available space needed on read only workspaces? I have a bunch or workspaces that I'm backing up, but would like to shrink their footprint. They are already read only for all users...i'm just using them to copy from to another storage for backup.

I keep my working workspaces between 15-20%, but sin cethese are read only, I'm sure I can go lower without any problem, but what? 5%? 2%?
It's a best practice to keep 5% free on the system overall for redistribution. It's common to create a workspace that equals 5% of the total storage and not allow anyone to have rights to it.But you can zero the workspace out without issue. There's no functional ISIS reason you need to leave space for it to operate correctly.

yes, I have free space allocated that noone can read/write to...so that good. So I'll shrink those read only spaces all the way down! thanks!
