    AMA Errors

Whenever I AMA link to my Sony FS XQD card, I get this message multiple times:

Error saving composition to asset manager.  Failed to copy SPAAF and OMAAF to MI index folder!

I am running the lastest Sony XD cam plug in and the Media Indexer has just been updated.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Re: AMA Errors

One of my clients ended up creating an "AMASPAAF" workspace on the ISIS and had it configured to write those files there. I don't know exactly how it was setup, I wasn't here when it was done, but I do know that now if that workspace is not mounted I get the errors you're talking about.

Ah yes - the old 'Error saving composition to asset manager. Failed to copy SPAAF and OMAAF to MI index folder' error.

Avid AMA hell - use another app.

You get them even if the workspace is mounted - still to this day.
