Hey folks.... Not sure many of the Community members know.... but I had an accident last Thursday. I broke my leg and while that sounds bad, the break actually was bad. The tibia was crushed and will require surgery. I have spent the past 2 days seeing surgeons and have one last tomorrow. Then decide which trauma doctor is the lucky winner and schedule surgery.
Over the next week I will be online periodically but no guarantee. Gerald will be watching the licensing forum so he can help there. You need help with other issues, troubleshooting etc..... Contact support directly. If I happen to be on and can help I will but I don't expect to be back full force for a while.
Hope the community understands....
The moderators are also here to help and know where to go should a crisis arise....
Think good thoughts all that the repair goes well.
Xo to all and play nice online.

Best wishes from me too. Unbelievable that even with a broken leg you´re taking the time of informing the community. You´re the angel that keeps the Avid community happy and one can´t thank you enough for all the good you´re doing for us.
Hope you´ll have a quick and painless recovery.

Bad, bad, bad! Really disturbed to hear this Don't think of us, think of you and get well soon.
Until you do we will miss you.
brake a leg doesn't seem appropriate to wish you a successful surgery and fast recovery, so i will just tell you ***
like we say in french.
lots of love.
the time you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted time...
Update folks.....
Surgeon has been selected.Surgery next Wednesday so keep me in your thoughts the 7th that all goes well. I will be catching up this weekend and then out Monday afternoon for Pre-Op then back to work Tuesday and then Surgery Wednesday am. At least I had this happen in the best place medically - Boston!
Bed for 1-2 weeks and then 3 month recovery with NO walking on the leg at all. I am a disaster on crutches so far.
Imagine me... the biggest spazz you know not being able to do squat for 3 months. And "me" having to ask people for help. Not easy.
Thanks for all the good wishes..... and even though I am horizontal - I can still type.
If you could all see me now - bad visual trust me. I have the best friends, colleagues, family and customers in the world and I feel truly blessed to know and help every one of you. God speed...
Gerald aka Gman will take good care of you folks while I am out.
Wow.
I am sure you'll be in the best of hands, so try to relay and allow the body to do its part in the recovery process, there will be no shortage of prayers and good thoughts flowing toward you.
