Avid Media Composer Tutorial, Part 1, Getting Started Fast

I was following the first tutorial fine until Kevin discussed a bin that had media clips. How do you add media to a bin? My media will be Sony RAW from an F55. Thank you.

    Hi piperlily,

Generally to bring media to bin, you can AMA linked and or import depending on the situation. If your AMA linking be sure to download the plugins that support your Sony F55. Here is a video tutorial for AMA linking, I hope it get you started.

Thank you Ralph! I was able to do file/link to media.  When I selected the clip there was a drop down for SONY RAW which I checked(I had downloaded the AMA plug-in) It created a bin clip I believe and showed up on my time line.
