update process to 8.4. was fine but now my audio effects are not playing correctly in my current project. I tried deleting the redner files and rerender but no change. ALSO my Avid color Artist does not work with 8.4 anymore now. I would like to downgrade.

Need some clarification
Just downloaded the full version - do I need to de-activate? Do I just install it? Still can't find a detailed install guide. Do I need to re-install al the AMA plugins?
thank you
Hey Marianna,
will be back on MC on Monday will make the List and give you all the details. It's on PC Win 7 Professional (64bit).I went already back to 8.3. Avid color works fine with that Version. It's maiinly the reverse effect. the timing doesn't fit anymore after render.
Avid Color Artist: EuControl 2.6
Love at first sight: I went to open a 9900x1080 project for my next gig and guess what? The custom size project feature is only working up to 8k something by 8k something.

8192x8192 is the maximum project size.
Does it work with latest GTX drivers or do you still have to install old ones?
HI,For me, it works with the latest 353.30 WHQL drivers with GTX 980 IT but I have not tested everything all the many features of MEDIA COMPOSER 8.4.(watch this discussion on Fri, Jun 26 2015 4:28 PM)
JCFRANCE,
I am thinking of buying the GTX 980 ti to use along with Avid and Premiere. Did you have to input the graphics card into the qualifiedgpuboards.txt or does your sistem have the GPU already listen? My 8.4 does not say Geforce cards. Only Quadro on PC.
I don't know if I should get 980 Ti, Titan or Quadro K4200. I just want Avid to support the card that I buy. What do you think?
Sorry for my English, I go through google ...In the original configuration of QualifiedGpuBoards.txt file, I added the line in the PC_SUPPORTED_CARDS part: NVIDIA Corporation - GeForce GTX 980 Ti / PCI / SSE2: NVIDIA: 980: 353.30(It is a graphics card GIGABYTE 980 ti reference)Then I launched MC 8.4. during initialization I saw 'CERTIFIED CARD'After I opened the console and saw:OpenGL implementation found: vendor = NVIDIA Corporation renderer = GeForce GTX 980 Ti / PCIe / SSE2 version = 4.5.0 NVIDIA 353.30 This hardware OpenGL implementation supports render textureThen I entered the command:command = AcplGpuEffects true In echo I received===================================================Your ACPL GPU effects are currently ***ENABLED***===================================================After testing GPU with effect NEAT VIDEO 4 on a clip.(with preferences in using the GPU).Media Composer 8.4 push the GPU to GPU Boost (i can(t load the image. sorry)I have not Premiere but use Davinci Resolve, which is why I also seeking the best compromise.Best regars
