    Making subclips with locators

I'd like to see the ability to create subclips from locators - sort of a poor man's 'DV scene extraction' for DVC Pro/ Beta, et. al.

It would be especially useful when capturing full tapes of doc stuff when you don't have an assistant to log each clip individually.  Just smack your locator key as you digitize, go to the 'make subclips from the clip menu (Wink [;)]I even know where it should go!) when the digitize is done, and voila'!

(Of course, this function is probably already there, I just haven't found it....Embarrassed [:$])

    Re: Making subclips with locators

Try Looking Under the Capture Settings. It is the last tab I believe it shows what the F keys do during capture. Some of these include Insserting various locators, and creating subclips and timed subclips, etc. Very Handy.
