Hi
We got BCC Lite with our Symphony system (Mac Pro with Nitris DX). In the downloads page it says "No serial number required" but when I use one of the effects I get a watermark saying it is running in demo mode. If I click on the "upgrade' button in the Effects Editor the BCC Lite effects are listed and it asks for a serial number... but I don't have one because on the Avid download page it says that I don't need one.
How do I activate the effects?
One thing I thought of, we got the effects with our MC/Symph 8.3 upgrade, but we're running 7.04. Would this be an issue?
thanks
Campbell

Yes, I expect that is precisely the issue. BCC AVX Lite is bundled with MC8 versions so it's coming up unlicensed because you're not in an MC 8.x version

Oh drat! We need to stay on MC7 to be compatible with our Editshare (bit slow, only just made the jump from MC5.5!). We're going to get Red for our effects package but I was hoping to use the BCC Lite effects for some good quick effects.
Is there anything we can do about this?
cheers
Hi Campbell, BCC Lite only has 4 effects in it not sure how usefull any of those would be for you. FWIW the Red Package is a pretty good deal IMO
