Most of my work is in PAL land or at least 25p or 50i. I use a Matrox MXO2 mini to drive a client monitor in PAL SD.

The Mrs B. wanted me to transfer our wedding video (NTSC - VHS) for posterity and I discovered that MC wont display via the MXO2. I get a message stating the 'the attached hardware is not compatible with the project format' and it disables the MXO2.

This is plainly mad - there must be a setting somewhere but I cant find it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry for your troubles. but all I can say is that Matrox drivers are not supported for MC 8.3. Matrox is working on drivers that will support 8.3, but nothing immediately.

OK thanks lunalobo75, that probably explains it. It seems Im lucky that it works in PAL in 8.3 at all!
