Hi guys and gals,
I am Tevin Turner. I have a
Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard Company
Model: 320-1030
Processor: AMD A4-3400 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.70GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00GB (3.49)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System
Pen and Touch: Touch Input Available with 2 Touch Points
Windows 7 Home Premium
This PC is not one that is approved (Avid Approved) to run Pro Tools 11, however I have a friend using a laptop that isn't as well and he is having no problems.
My goal was to see if Pro Tools would run on my PC before purchasing the full program. This lead me to purchase an iLok and download the demo version for a test.
Installation was a success for the most part.
While trying to open the demo version of Pro 11 , I receive a message saying:
Fatal Error - Pro Tools
Pro Tools 11 could not be loaded. Please contact the software publishe for support using this software.
Error Details:
Import DLL MSVCP100.dll can not be loaded.
After countless hours of googling, I kept seeing post on redownloading the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribution Package to fix this problem. Tried that. Redownloaded the Microsoft Visual C++ for every year on my PC including newer ones that I did not have. Still had the problem.
I also restored my CPU to an earlier date, reinstalled EVERYTHING (PT, PACE, iLok, etc). And the error message is still popping up and not allowing me to access the program.
Is my PC just not going to do or is there something that I can do to fix this problem?
