Hey all, just want to check in to see if there's an easier workflow for what I'm doing.
I have a 45 minute piece on my MC that I need to transfer to Premiere CC. I thought I'd have to consolidate the sequence and export all clips as QT's, but I'm reading that it might be possible to simply select the sequence and export as AAF and Premiere will be able to read the sequence and all native footage?
This would save me hours/days if true. Can anyone confirm this for me?
Much appreciated!

Yes. Export AAF. This what I do amd it works beatifully.
the video says you can only do it with AMA'd files, but not with avid mxf files. is there any way to accomplish that, maybe by consolidating (and losing links to original files)?
You are wrong. It's works with MXF files.
gorky is right: it's the way to get your mxf's tp premiere. Go ahead and try it; but; just remember, it may not bring over some transitions ot effcts you have laid out in avid. A straight edit with some easy transitions will work.
