Same here...it's a powerful alliance between the two companies that I hope continues. I use ScriptSync all the time and continually tout it's features to all my clients...who once use it are sold on Avid👍

I think you can add me to the "giving up" list. This thread began in May 2014, and even back then Dave C said negotiations had been going on a long time.  We've heard only vague reassurances for a year and a half, and those only when people pipe up and ask in forums like these.  I don't think our friendly requests have done a bit of good.

 

I hate to admit it, but feeling the same here.

Same here. If negotiations take _this_ long, it looks like neither party is interested in achieving an agreement.

Not back until tomorrow from leave but I did ask Dave and Ken this am and will report back tomorrow when I am officially BACK!!!!!

I just finished a job where a client cut a ruff cut in iMovie and I conformed it.

It was all talking heads and no kind of EDL AFF or anything.

 

Without Phrase Find I would have had to either decline the job or find another system.

 

I only hope the Avid understands how important this feature is to the editing process and how many people would leave if it goes away.
