There are a few new lower priced Cameras coming on the market this year.

Im only running MC6, but assume with MC 7 and a faster machine, will I be able to edit the footage with reasonable ease?

Obviously, I would most likely be outputting in HD 1920x1080 as not much Ultra yet, but quality would be nice.

Looking at MC7.0 specs  on here http://www.avid.com/US/products/media-composer#features and the promo videos, this would seem possible, but thought I would ask?

best practice would be to get hold of some sample clips of this new camera...
Trial MC7 and download the latest Sony AMA plugins.

all free, so you can be sure your workflow works fine, before purchasing that camera in combination with a MC7 upgrade...
