How to map keyboard shortcut for video monitor icon

    Hi..

I have searched many a fora and threads but couldn't find how to map the video monitor icon in Avid MC.

It would be extreemly helpful if we can map and move up and down through the number of video layers instead of moving the cursor every time to change its position.

Can anybody shade light on this?

    Thanks and cheers

    Sam

    Hi,

you cannot map it to directly to your keyboard.

    BUT

if you have your video tracks mapped to your keyboard V1, V2, V3, V4... etc

by pressing OPT+V1, the video monitor will be placed on the V1 Track
if you press OPT+V2, the video monitor will be placed on teh V2 Track
    ...

    Hope this helps
