Hey,
A few days ago I reformatted my computer and installed the MC 7.0.2, ang now I have no signal from the Matrox MXO2 mini (driver - matrox 7.5.0. 1960) (1080p25). Before that I had 6.5.2 and it worked great ...
I'd be happy if someone could help me. Not pleasant to work without a monitor :((the monitor is connected with HDMI).
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
my matrox mojito worked with these drivers and mc 7, so should your mxo2 do, i guess. nevertheless there are newer drivers (7.5.1.1966). you should give them a try, maybe.
Thanks for the reply.
I updated the version, still did not help :(
Am i missing something in the avid/Matrox settings? should be Matrox identification in avid?.
maybe the video card driver (nvida installed from the avid Utilities - drive 310.90) causing problems?
I would start with checking the Matrox icons at the bottom of the screen, are one of them red.
If not, can you check what it says about the unit in the Matrox hardware specs, same icons, it´s a scrolldown and rather self explaining.
If the system doesn´t see you unit Avid will not either of course.

the system see the unit. Where is it in Avid, in version 5 was above the Time Line?
Ok, thanks, in the very top of the Avid screen, does it say Avid with Matrox or just Avid.
just Avid Media Composer..
In sistem i have the Black square sign with white writing TV. matrox WYSIWYG preview.
Matrox support is good at this, I would give them a call, feels like the Matrox drivers haven´t been correct installed from an Avid site of view.
Thanks, it works!! I reinstalled the driver again ..
But another problem - on the bottom of the monitor has flicker ..
I noticed that when I transfer the project to 1080i50, the problem goes away ..
The difficulty is that my project is 1080p25 ..
You probably need to go into your hardware setup within avid. It''ll pop up the matrox settings and you can change your seeting to 1080p 25p (if you are outputing via HDMI), or 1080psf 25p (for component) if you are monitoring with an HD TV. If you are monitoring with a SD monitor, then choose PAL:

WYSIWYG has nothing to do with AVID, only After Effects.
HOpe that gears you into the right territory. If not, try Matrox Support forum:

Thanks man, it works!!
Strange that I work with HDMI and in hardware setup in avid switched to 1080PsF and only then problem disappeared.
(i am monitoring with an HD TV)
Awesome... glad to hear you got it to work.
