[HP Z400 Turnkey system]

I recently did the point upgrade from 6.5.3 to 6.5.4 and I noticed an odd bug. When linking to Alexa Pro Res 4444 clips in 6.5.3, everything was great. But when doing the same linking in 6.5.4 (same machine, same footage) the video looks terrible. This goes for any Alexa clip in the project: Studio interviews, exteriors, etc. I checked and double checked all the normal quality-based settings: Full green in the timeline, AMA set to highest quality, project format set to 1080p 23.98, etc. In addition, quicktime is up to date as is the Prores decoder plugin for Windows.

After rolling back to 6.5.3, everything is fine. Screengrabs below.

Any ideas?

I have reported this issue to Marianna.  She said it was being looked at.

I am still waiting for some news.

Glad I am not the only one seeing this - though it is a pretty bad bug.

My test seemed to show it only with 444 material.

We will see what Marianna comes up with.
