    Anyone using K4000 Graphics card with mc 6.5.3?

    Just wondered if anyone is using the nvidia K4000 with

    mc 6.5.3? I know its certified with mc7 but not sure about 

    6.5.3.

    I've been running it on 6.5.2 for the last 3 months with no issues. However today I am having some playback issues, which I believe is coming from a drive failure. So you should be fine.

    Just need to ensure good ventilation. Significantly heats.

    I think he means the Quadro "K"4000, not the regular Quadro 4000 (which IS a heating monster). The K4000 produces way less heat and consumes way less power than the Quadro 4000.

     

    Ihave both and both work great with Avid and Adobe CC combo.

    On cold winter nights, other dogs lay in front of the fireplace.   My dog lays in back of my Z800 and basks in the heat from my Quadro card. Wink

    Hahaha, yeah, I gotta crank up the AC in teh house and use Speedfan to really get her cooling down.
