Avid Symphony: Splitting Stereo tracks to mono causing slips

    System Specs

    Avid Symphony 6.5.2

    MAC Os 10.7.5

    2.66ghx quad core

While Prepping a session for a mixer we were splitting strereo tracks to mono and found that, once split, audio clips would be shifted down the time line (sometimes one frame, sometimes 10).  We determined it was not based on differing frame rates, bit rates, singular files, the project itself, a corrupt sequence, differing media drives (isis), based on which track or whether or not the sequence was drop or non drop. No real pattern we could figure and very time consuming to actually prep the sequence properly

We think it may be involved with the project frame rate which is 1080i 59.94. Just wanted to see if anyone had experienced anything similar.  Thanks!
