Select clip in Segment mode and shift it on track upwards or downwards WITHOUT draging it with the mouse!!!!!

Totalky agree : mouse can never be assimilate to KB shortcut.

And I remind that this "mouse short cut" change in every versions and platform (v4 is not working likr v5, and mac isn't working like Pc - and this is not as simple as comand key become ctrl key !!)  : some time ctrl alt, sometime ctrl maj... 2 modifier keys that are never the same + dragging is not at all a short cut !!

Actually, I use the combinaison alt T (select just one segment)- alt W (lift and copy to clipboard) - choose the destination track - alt B (overwhrite without using the timeline's marks).

Not a efficient as Alt down arrow, but it can help. 

+1, I totally loved that option in Final Cut, makes moving segments much faster (and accurately). Love to see it in new Avid.

I use Alt+Lasso, usually over multiple Clips over multiple Video and/or Audio tracks, which instantly puts those clips into Segment mode, and then I simply Shift+ Modifier + Drag, which keeps all clips in sync at their new track position. I really cannot ask for more, but then again I've enjoyed Lassoing clips the minute I realized how versatile a tool it is in MC.

i remember the old liquid days. it was pretty easy: cmd + up or down

+1000 for me....I've been on other NLE's and only avid makes iy possible to edit with a minimal usage of the mouse.....if it can just nudge up and down.....things will be mmuch faster and maybe i dont need a mouse anymore
