Alert "Floating point exception" in thread "mainThread" , at address 0x0

I've been away from MC for the past few years. Right now, I'm running a trial version of MC 6.5 and keep getting an error alert  "Floating point exception" in thread "mainThread" , at address  0x0. I have a feeling it's the system going to sleep. Has anyone else had this and found a solution?

    Pat

Most often we see Segmentation Fault in Main Thread at 0x0 or Buss error at Main Thread at 0X0 which can be attributed to permissions on the Macintosh hard drive or plug in conflicts.

Would help if you provided us with your specifications and OS version.
