Sync Audio Clips Permanently to Master Clips

Is there a way to sync (preferably in batch) avid audio master clips to avid video master clips?   Using autosync this is done via the creation of grouped subclips.

Ideally we'd have all our master clips with the additional audio track "linked" permanently to them.

    Can it be done?

    Thanks!

I haven't tested this, but you could try the following recipe:

    Autosync your clips.

Export the subclips as QT Ref.

    Import the Qt Ref.

Consolidate the imported clips to make them permanent master clips.

To maintain the metadata of the original subclips, you could export an ALE file from them and then merge it back into the new masterclips to bring back that metadata.

Thanks Matt.  That sound like it would work (and be a lot of work too!) :-)
