We pay tribute to and honor the memory of those brave men and women throughout the years who, in defense of freedom, made the ultimate sacrifice. Freedom is not free.

Hi Larry:
So true, Freedom is NOT free ! It's paid for in blood ! Something that is so hard faught for can be so easily abused !

A group of us have been working for the last few years with the Liberary of Congress on a program called The Veterans History Project. We live in a large retirement community with many Vets & have video taped and edited about 500 Vets stories, mainly about WW-2, Korea and Vietnam. I wish I could put in words the sacrifice, heroism and sense of duty they told us about. Now new stories from the Vets of our current wars are being recorded by others. It is wonderful that we honor them on Memorial Day but all of them should be remembered every day we are still in the land of the free and the home of the brave because of the ultimate sacrifice made by their comrades

Mike
