Anyone notice that when MC 6.0.1 exits after editing with Magic Bullet 2 that an error dialog appears briefly after MC closes?
Did a Google search for this but didn't find anything useful.
Thx
Steve

I actually did a full system rebuild (for other reasons) and I still see this. It looks to me like something in MagicBullet is not being correctly released (closed) when the rest of MC shutsdown...
Steve, this was an old bug that was supposed to be fixed, have you updated to the latest version of Looks
Tomas
Hi Tomas - it can't be that old since MB Looks 2 has only recently been released for MC 6 ;-)
I'm using 2.0.5 which is the most recent released version of looks for the PC. There is a beta 2.0.6 but I get the same fault with that version.
I do remember this being an issue with looks 1.0 and some previous version of MC (maybe MC 5 or earlier) - looks like it's back.
Do you remember if the fix from way back was on RedGiant's side or Avid's?
Hi Steve, old is relative, I do remember a bug of this kind, will take a new close look at my Pc system once my BD project is out.
It was an old one and still is.
Looks (2 now) isn't unloaded each time you close MC6.
It stays on the background, once loaded.

That was my thought, too, George. And once MC fully closes, MB is left without a host...
Still having this issue. Did a Google search and the first hit was this (my) thread
i wonder if RedGiant is aware of this. It's cosmetic in nature but annoying just the same.
Cheers
steve, out of curiosity, have you ever had the time to read the warning?
here, using mb 2.1, the thing just flashes by, no time to semi-read...
the time you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted time...
You know - I've never taken the time to read the warning - it seems to be generic but I should really record it wtih my camera and read what it says. Maybe it's an easter egg telling me I won the lottery ;-)
Good suggestion. My thought is that the fix probably has to come from RedGiant - I was just wondering if anyone else had spoken to RedGiant about this.
Thanks
i just did a camera grab of the error (6 frames@24p).
Cool - thanks - it really is a generic error ;-)
What's not clear to me is whether it's MC that's crashing on exit or if this is some MB out-of-process server that's crashing as MC exits.
Thanks again for the screen image -
FWIW - It's still happens with MC 7.
confirmed as well!
