Graphics Without BCC Pan And Zoom

Does anyone know the best way to work with graphics in MC6?

I have a 1280 x 960 graphic of a vortex which I intend to slowly rotate.  I zoom into the graphic so as I rotate the edges are not seen and the viewer is immersed, so to speak.  With BCC Pan and Zoom I was able to do it and the resolution quality remained high.  With MC6 there is no BCC Pan and Zoom so where to go?  Avid Pan and Zoom does not have rotating capabilities.  The Avid 3D Warp works but it loses resolution as you zoom in.  Trying it in AvidFX also worked but again, I lose resolution.

Boy, do I miss Avid Liquid when I work with graphics.

When it comes to manipulating images, there are very few things that Avid Fx cannot do, you might want to take one more look at possible settings and adjustments.

About BCC 8 it´s available from Boris, the update price still seems to be 295 dollars although it was said to be 500 dollars after the weekend, if you are fast and lucky you might be able to still buy it for the old price.

Thanks for your reply.  So it seems AvidFX is my answer for Ken Burns type graphic manipulation.  I did see some settings I had not before.  The record moitor of MC6 shows all maniplated graphics with poor resolution so it is frustrating to work with.

With MC6 you get AvidFX6 in the bundle.

In AvidFX 6 there is the BCC Pan and Zoom filter. The same version as in BCC8.

Here is what I've done and found since your replies...

Once in AvidFX from MC6 I see Scaling, Panning and Rotating as default capabilities.  I replace the current image with the original (large file to zoom).  Now I can do all the things I need to do with graphics without losing quality.
    Correct?

But if I actually go to Filters and choose the BCC Pan Zoom effect I don't see Scaling.  Geez! Doug, do you have a tutorial for this yet?  Regardless, for now I can get by with the AvidFX default capabilities.

I don't know what I'd do without you people and this forum.  Thanks again and Happy New Year!

In Avid FX with BCC Pan and Zoom Filter and the Track selected (not the Face) select the Transform tab at the top and you will have as many options as you want
