Hi
Till last week with MC5.5.3 and MX02 mini everything was working perfectly.
With MC6 I can see few problems when my MX02 mini is connected
1. Trim mode doesn't work as it should be.. During trimming video is not updated in the dual image pc monitor so it is very hard to trim my video. (using keyboard trimming and mouse clicking)
2. Color Corection updates slowly
3. General timeline scrolling is slower then without the MX02 (It wasn't like that a week ago)
MX02 mini users, please share..
Thanks!
Hi Dor, is this your 5th post about this within a week now
here we go ..
Not seeing this
See above
As already said initially in one of your first threads it is likely your uncertified Videocard that gives you problems.
You have already answered that this card have worked well for you for the last 3 and a half years, maybe it´s about time to get your hardware certified now with a new 64 bits version...

My Matrox MX02 mini no longer works with Avid FX 6. It worked fine with MC 5.0.3 and Avid FX 5.8.2

Just tested with a borrowed quadro card (I think it was FX1400), off course with correct driver
Color Corection and trim with MX02 still "broken" over here
>> 3. General timeline scrolling is slower then without the MX02 (It wasn't like that a week ago)
Same here. Faster if Matrox Mini is disabled. Can this really be because of the video card?
luca.mg: http://community.avid.com/forums/t/102887.aspx did you look at that page that luca linked up? I had the same problem, here is how i fixed my problem, im not sure if it will work for you but atleast try"In the viewer/canvas window, click on the trim mode button, then when your in trim mode, right click the viewer/canvas window and click on trim mode settings, then click on the Features button, select "Render on the fly" and deselect "Dual Image Play" if its selected. itll update as you trim using your mouse now.It should work because mine started working after I found this out.

Dual image setting doesn't help over here. thanks.
When MX02 mini is off trim is Ok over here (when using the keyboard)
Vinne, How is you trim/Color Corecton ?
dor: Vinne, How is you trim/Color Corecton ?
Trim and Color Correction work ok here. Not as fast and responsive as they used to, but ok.
I have MX02 Max with MC6. It's running on HP Z400 with Quadro FX 3800, win7 SP1 64bit. Color correction, trim mode and effect editing mode responses very slowly. So slowly that editing really is not possible. Timeline scrubbing though is very fast and flawless. If I turn off fast scrubbing, I get my timeline responsing as slowly as the other modes..Could it be a driver problem, a bug or what?
As said, I cannot reproduce any lagging problems with DNxHD 120 or 185x media.
What codecs are you other using when you see these lags.
There aren´t by any chance anyone of you that are editing directly on ama linked media.
I'm using DNxHD 120 and 185. I don't have any linked AMA media. My project raster is 1080/25p. Matrox's video output setting is 1080psf. I've tried all possible combinations of rasters and outputs, but I still have the problem.
With fast scrubbing timeline respond is fast here too, but when it is disabeld as it used to be in 5.53 respond time is slow
In general MX02 with 5.53 was not noticeable in any action. Performance with or without MX02 were the same..
Not anymore with MC6

I didn´t need to have fast scrub disabled in 5,53 Dor, is it that card of yours again ...
