Pink image when using SD component settings

I run an Media Composer Adrenaline HD/SD system and have suddenly encountered an unusual problem.

I normally work in HD (which works absolutely fine), but when I needed to view an old SD tape using the component output setting, the image that appeared on the monitor was predominantly pink. The image in the composer window is fine and I have tried a seperate monitor and the same thing happens, so I'm now stumped as the a way tho resolve the problem.

Any   thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.

Usually a faulty component connector or cable.

Worst case you could use the composite out

You could also check your Video output settings.

If not using a reference signal (Black Burst) make sure the option is set to Internal

In the SD Cal tab select  Component (I dont see that this would make any difference.... But)

Excellent! A new componet cable sorted the problem.

I can never understand why something inert wears out, but I'm not going to dwell on it.

So thank you very much Andrew.
