I need to replace quadro 4000 in my workstation and have cheap offer for quadro 6000.
Quadro 4000 doesn't work with the latest driver and MC8.9 version.
What about quadro 6000 ? Will it works with latest driver /377.11/ ? As I read problems are only with 4000 card series.
Some users comments, please.
BTW... I do not want to buy more expensive quadro / i.e. k4200 which works fine as I know / because in the coming months I plan to buy new workstation.

This is what I know
NVIDIA M6000 12GB/24GB PCI-e graphics card (Nvidia driver 362.13 required)
NVIDIA P4000 8GB PCI-e graphics card (Nvidia driver 376.84 required)
NVIDIA P5000 16 GB PCI-e graphics card (Nvidia driver 376.84 required)
NVIDIA P6000 24 GB PCI-e graphics card (Nvidia driver 376.84 required)

My old 2000D works fine with the latest driver.
Did you install the driver came with 8.9?

M6000 and P6000 are higher than quadro 6000. That's why I ask about this model.
In the "MC 8.9 Read me" I read:
"New Nvidia Driver: Nvidia Driver v377.11 is supported with this release."
You're writing about Nvidia 362.13 and 376.84 drivers.
What is the correct driver for Media Composer 8.9 ?

FWIW,
6000 denoted Nvidea's highest end graphic card for several generation until current GP100.
Current generation is Quadro P (Pascal).
Prior to that was Quadro M (Maxwell).
Prior to that was Quado K (Kepler).
Prior to that was Quadro.
Prior to that was Quadro FX. FX series covered several generations indicated by the hundred place digit. Most recent was n800, preceded by n700 & so on.

Mark,
I know NVidia's Quadro cards series history. Quadro is Fermi ...
It's in my first post why I wanted replace my Quadro 4000.
BTW ... Quadro 6000 doesn't work with MC and latest drivers which comes with 8.9 and 8.9.1 versions.
I came back to the MC 8.8.4
I think MC 8.9.1 is for very new cards but we should have an update on that.
But why you just didnt try other drivers instead of going back versions?
Why you don't try every driver from those M posted for 6000 versions?
Put the info here:

I'll try.
Latest drivers are not compatible with Quadro 6000.
At this moment I have to start a project so came back to 8.8.4
